My parents are a driving force in who I have become and throughout my life I have had the best friends around me who love me for who I am. You first memory
What were your first memories? I recall driving in the car with my mom asking her question after question. I recall asking her if all the people at the cemetary were dead. I remember preschool getting stung by a bee in the sandbox. I remember being with friends that I still love to this day. I remember holiday traditions that we still mimic today. I feel like I have a great grasp on many memories of my youth. I also remember asking my mom if I turn the TV off will Seaseme Street be in the same spot when I turn it back on, (imagine that with today's TVs you pretty much can). All these memories swarm through my head but putting them in chronological order is very hard. Tell us about your first memories and its details. This will earn you $5 baby project dollars for Monday. Have a great weekend!!!

ReplyDeleteOne of my earliest memories was of michaela and i when we were about 3 sneaking off and going to see my neighbors goldfish...
ReplyDeleteOne of my many memories is when Marisa, my friend William, and I were sitting at Williams house drinking tea and playing power rangers when we thought we saw the Easter bunny in William's back yard!
ReplyDeleteI feel like I have a lot of really vague memories of when I was REALLY little, but the one I remember most clearly is of Cape Cod when I was 3. My aunt had this house which was super close to the beach. To get to the beach, you just had to walk through this woodsy area, and there was a little path. I don't know why but I clearly remember walking through the path to the beach and then going onto this dock in the water with my cousins.
ReplyDeletenice memory mareee! My earliest memory was in preschool and I was eating lunch. I told the person next to me that I was allergic to bananas. They asked me, "why arn't you sneezing" and I can't remember what I said! And I'm really not allergic to them btw's (by the way)
ReplyDeleteAn idea that I have for the project is for everyone to bring in a quarter with the year of your birth on it. Then we can give them to the church...
I thought that I would mention that marisa...while I was writing this the song I can see clearly now was playing!!!
ReplyDeletemy first memory that i can remember is my first day of preschool. I was crying sooo much and i didnt want to leave my dad. but he brought me inside and i met my teachers and some kids. eventually i stopped crying. i also remember at preschool when i had to sit in the time-out chair for touching the afro kids' hair..i didnt like the teacher who put me in time-out.
ReplyDeleteMy first memory was going on a camping trip wit my family to vermont when i was like 3 years old. it was so much fun. and another 1 was in preschool wen i saw marisa and michaela i knew we were gonna be friends til 8th grade. =)
ReplyDeleteMy first memory was when I was playing with some toy cars when I was about 2 And a half and something happened to my bother who was only like 6 months old (I don't remember what happened) but then a couple of ambulance people ran into my house. That's all I remember. Wow that's not very pleasant.
ReplyDeleteMy earliest memories are of when we first moved here. My dad's pink SUV was in the drive way and the moving truck was right in front of our house. A ramp ran right from the truck, across the porch, to the front door and I was running back and forth on it while my dad was trying not to hit me with any of the heavy furniture he was rolling down the ramp. I'm not sure how soon after or before that it was, but I also remember, before I had a real bed I slept on a futon, with a peach blanket and a scary monster stuffed and, and our grumpy cat Mura would come up and sleep with me.
ReplyDeleteMy earliest memory was that day I learned to ride my bike with no training wheels. I remember being at my cousins house and all my older cousins were riding their bikes with no training wheels and also wanted to ride my bike with no training wheels cause I wanted to be like the older kids. So my cousin attempted to help me . We were on a hill and I had asked my dad to take my training wheels off. The first time I tried I fell flat on my face and cried. Then I tried a couple more times and finally I was riding my bike down the hill without falling or stopping I felt so accomplished.
ReplyDeleteI'm not exactly sure which post I'm supposed to cmment on as there are two; therefore, I will comment on both...
ReplyDeleteFor one who has a pretty good memory, it is strange how I really can’t clearly remember anything from the early years of my life up until age three. However, I do have a few flashes of pictures implanted in my mind from times before three and my brother’s birth. The earliest of these is probably a glimpse of my mom, dog Kira, and I at this pond feeding ducks. When I was about one or two years old, my mom used to wheel me in a stroller to a pond a few minutes from my house. There, we would throw tiny pieces of bread to these ducks that came to this little pond every year. I remember that one year, we were there in the spring and one of the female ducks had its brood of ducklings with it which, I thought, was pretty cool. However, these ducks stopped returning to that pond many years ago; probably when I was five or six. This is most likely due to the fact that that area has become more developed which I pretty sad if you think about it…However, this is most likely my first memories of life.
My first memory is from when i was 3.. I always wanted to go to school so i went EVERYWHERE with a backpack on. One day i was at mcdonalds with my mom and i thought the random apartments behind it was school. i was crying because i wanted to go to that "school." my mom then brought me to the apartment and let me skip right up to the building and ring the door bell. I remember standing in front of the door for a couple minutes. then i just thought that school was closed so i left. Until the first day of kindergarten i thought those creepy buildings was school")
ReplyDeleteFirst Memory: My farthest back memory is not a scene... It's more like an image that I remember from an event. Since I can't explain what was happenning, I'l explain the image: I was holding my moms hand looking at my dad. He was smoking a cigar a few feet away from me (His last one. he remembers) near a main street. Accross the street was a field with trees and a lake. In the field was like a stage. My dad was standing near a blue parked car. The sun was setting. Those are the main details of the memory... there are more but a picture is worth a thousand words, and i don't feel like writing that much.
ReplyDeleteAn idea for something good to do: My dad is going to Napal soon (I don't really know if it'll be that soon). He's going there to educate the nurses there so they can do good! I don't really know (and niether does my dad,) about this, but I think we may be able to donate money to the school or the organization that my dad will be working with... but I'll find out more.
My first memory is from when i was 2 or 3 and i was scared of the dark. every night i made traps. My traps where made of leg gos. But my memory is when my trap actually worked!!! My mom was coming to wake me up and stepped on a leg go and screamed and it woke me up and i was really scared. now i think of it and it's wicked funny.
ReplyDeleteOne of my first memories is when I would go for naps! When my mom put be in the crib she would go down stairs then I did a flip out of my crib that's how I got into gymnastics and cheerleading! And when I got out of the crib I would follow my mom around till she noticed me and then she would put me back in and I would do it again till I didn't have to take a nap anymore ahah!
ReplyDeleteMy first memory was when I was four years old and I was getting on a Pan Am airplane to go down to Disney World. It happened at worcester airport when it was still open.
ReplyDeleteMy first memory was when I was around two or three and I brought my blanket down the hallway and my brother and I were just sitting on it playing with matchbox cars like normal youngsters and my brother found some matches for the grill and he lit one, while we were on the blanket, and he immediately got scared and dropped it. It lit the blanket and I put it out by stepping on it. I was very upset. We still have the blanket!

ReplyDeleteOne of my first memories when was i was about 5, I always wanted to be Famous & their was this casting at the Mall (right next to the DCU Center) The casting was in this store that was completely empty & there was only a long table w/ 4 people sitting there with papers & there was this some what wall there that separated the place were the judges were & were the people waiting to go were but there were about three gaps there so the majority of the people were sitting their heads in there looking & the persons audition... I was being my mom to let me go but she thought it was all a scam until she read the papers & the contract IF u got the part & then she realized it was all real & none of it was a Scam... I was really excited & was also watching the other people audition. Some of them were REALLY good others weeelll they could use some help.. Later on i got butterflies & didn't have enough guts to go up there in front these 4 judges & a bunch of other people looking at me though the gaps of the "wall" ... So my mom gave me a little pep talk of how if u do it then this will happen, if you don't that will happen & then she was trying to convince me that i Could do it & to just go up there & do my best.. But in the end i just couldn't now every time I drive by that place i always "image what could of been" ...
ReplyDeleteMy first memory was when i was arounf 18 months old and me and my sister were sitting on this soft cushiony thing in a professional photographers business and we where sitting there and they were taking pictures of us. T the place i remember bawling a ton and they were giving me toys and stuff trying to cheer me up, and that didn't work because the picture is still hanging in my house and i am crying in the picture.
