About Me

My photo
I have been teaching at SPCC since 2004. I love interacting with students everyday and working with my peers. I also love playing and coaching basketball, playing baseball, and golfing. I love being spontaneous and riding the wave of life where it takes me. I am also very proud to have the best wife, duaghter, and a brand new edition on the way in September. My parents are a driving force in who I have become and throughout my life I have had the best friends around me who love me for who I am. God has guided me in many ways that have turned into miracles.

Your first memory

The development during infancy is crucial for a young child.  Though we dont usually recall any of it, it paves the way for childhood.  Tonight what is your fist memory?  Where were you?  How old were you?  Maybe it is a specific moent, or an activity, or a person, or something else.  Share whatever you remember about your fist memory.

  3. The 1st memory i had was when i was in my 1st year of preschool at OLA. I was outside in the playground and was walking around with another kid. We looked for the biggest rocks we could find and put them all on the slide. The teacher got mad at us for picking up all the rocks so she made us go inside. I was afraid my mom was gonna be mad at me so i cried.

  6. my 1st memory was something i'll never forget, but its something that isnt really a good memory at all. i was with my mom and my babci and ja (polish 4 gramdma and grandpa), one afternoon and we went out to friendlys for lunch. after lunch i had desert, my ( former) favorite those clown sundays- with the m&ms as eyes, well as u guys know im alergic to peanuts but at this time i didnt know tht. and i didnt know tht the m&ma were peanut m&ms. and thts how it all went down. i had an allergic reaction, i was rushed to the hospital, and all i really remember was eating then sunday and i had this weird feeling- then seeing my dad at the hospital in his work clothes. the rest was a blur

  8. For one who has a pretty good memory, it is strange how I really can’t clearly remember anything from the early years of my life up until age three. However, I do have a few flashes of pictures implanted in my mind from times before three and my brother’s birth. The earliest of these is probably a glimpse of my mom, dog Kira, and I at this pond feeding ducks. When I was about one or two years old, my mom used to wheel me in a stroller to a pond a few minutes from my house. There, we would throw tiny pieces of bread to these ducks that came to this little pond every year. I remember that one year, we were there in the spring and one of the female ducks had its brood of ducklings with it which, I thought, was pretty cool. However, these ducks stopped returning to that pond many years ago; probably when I was five or six. This is most likely due to the fact that that area has become more developed which I pretty sad if you think about it…However, this is most likely my first memories of life.

  10. I have an idea to help raise money for a charity like the Jimmy fund or any other charity you could think of: WE SHOULD HAVE A SCHOOL CARWASH!!! We could have it in the school parking lot on a weekend when it is sunny. We could raise enough money to help a lot of people.

  11. I just remembered another memory!! When i lived in virginia, we had this little cave thing in our basement for my 2 older siblings. its weird because that is the only part of the house i remember. anyways so one day i was trying to go into the little cave with my sister and her friend, but they really didnt want me there. so christinas friend asked me if i wanted to play house and i was so pumped!! she put me in this old crib in our basement and then she ran away to go back in the cave with christina and, well, she never came back. i couldn't get out of that crib for really long time until my mom found me in there!

  16. My earliest memory, or so i think it is, is one where I was on a cruise. And on this cruise there was a waterslide. A big waterslide. Now let me paint you a picture of the moment.

It was a chilly, foggy, windy afternoon on the top deck of a cruise. My brother and I were climbing the steps to the waterslide.

About halfway up, Imagine a little sam. I, afraid of hights, stopped climbing and called my brother. I told him to stop climbing because I was scared. He tried to convince me otherwise. From there the memory fades.

I cant remember when that happened.

  17. My first memory was when i was in preschool (around 4years old)..not spcc a different one. And my friend Christopher was being made fun of by a boy named Adikiss (funky name) and I was not happy with that because Adikiss had made fun of me too and i didn't like that. So I went and stood between him and Christopher and I told Adikiss to leave him alone but he wouldn't so I yelled and said LEAVE HIM ALONE! And he did woohoo!

  18. Mr.P I have a question about the egg project...can I put mine in a container with a lid or does that count as suffocating the baby?? Or does anyone know?

  20. Ray you can use a lid or whatever. Remember everyone you want it to be easy to hold and carry around with books, and you need to make it comfy and well protected so it doesn't break. Awesome memories everyone, the all make me laugh and think about how amazing our lives are and how we got to this point. I hope to give out 45 one hundreds for the baby project this week. Good luck work hard!!!

Oh by the way team Coonan Phillips won the SPCC golf tourny again. Maybe someone out there can come back and challenge us. I doubt anyone could beat us but I'm just saying hahahhahahahah. Have a good Sunday everyone!!!

  22. My idea for a gift to St. Peters is to donate clothing and other things to the church. This would be a good idea because then St. Peters could give it to people that need them.

  23. My first memory is when I was like 3 or 4 we had a cat and it was really mean and nasty. The memory is when I tried to pet it abs it scratched me across the face
It barely grazed me but I made it look and sound like it had like shot me or something
After that my parents Picked me up and sang a lullaby
And that was when I really became conscious of the world around me

  24. My idea to help st peters is to have a basketball tournament . Each grade could participate . To join u would have to pay a dollar
And if u won u could donate it to any thing to help towards the school
    Like new painting materials
    Or new books
    Or new sports equipment

  27. my first 'memory' is actually a total blur. i just remember the vivid colors and i remember the sounds.i have alot of memories exactly like this one but with different blurs in the background. so i was always up higher as if i was elevated and two people would make the sound "aaahhh" i would make the sound "aaahhhh" back and they would scream "eeewwwwww" and i would start laughing hysterically. i asked my mom how old i was and she said i was 7 months at the time. as for a memory thats actually vivid, well i have alot of those from singing fremch lullibies with my mom wen i was small to meeting juliana in preschool, or when i met a girl named sopia at the playground to when i was four and i wanted to name the new 3 and i wanted to name the new baby juliana. for memories that are actually FULL and CLEAR not just little snippets ,it was when my dad announced that we would be having a baby. he announced it to the family and said it would be a little biy. than he asked what we should name it and i remember exactly what everybody said:
cedrick: i think we should name it cedrick junior or victor or manny or bob. YAH we i think his name should be erick.WAIT NO NO NO. it should be ethan or jabez.
christelle: i think we should call it matthew or erick
me: WE SHOULD CALL IT JULIANA CAUSE JULIANA IS MY BESTEST FRIEND IN THE WHOLE ENTIRE BIG ENTIRE WORLD AND GALAXY(i meant galaxy but what came out sounded totally different)
Dad: no micou, i dont think juliana would be a good boy name
Me: YES IT WOULD(everything that came out of my mouth was a scream)
Mom: micou, thats a big no no!!!

then we decided it would be named walker junior and just kept on screaming that it should be name juliana, and i remember the rest of the conversation and everything else that happened that day before i went to bed.
