I know most of you have forgotten about the blog but I wanted to send you a message just in case you check. Today I went to Canoby Lake with the class of 2012. It reminded me of the great people I went with last year and I began to wonder how you all were. We went on Untamed and I remembered how we missed going on it by a few days. What a great time last year was to see such promising young men and women grow up. I have been fortunate enough to see some of you this year and hear great things about more but I wanted to say hello and thank you for being yourselves. Have a great summer and hope to hear from you soon!

About Me

- Mr. Phillips
- I have been teaching at SPCC since 2004. I love interacting with students everyday and working with my peers. I also love playing and coaching basketball, playing baseball, and golfing. I love being spontaneous and riding the wave of life where it takes me. I am also very proud to have the best wife, duaghter, and a brand new edition on the way in September. My parents are a driving force in who I have become and throughout my life I have had the best friends around me who love me for who I am. God has guided me in many ways that have turned into miracles.

Hi Mr.Phillips. I was on Oovoo with Grace and asked about this so she went on and said you wrote something. But I miss you and hope you had a great year. My birthday was June 5th(: But my Grandma sadly died the next day. But besides that, I've been good. I had 2 exams today but I got dismissed for the second one because of her burial. I know I did great on my Theology test. But I hope you have a great Summer.

So sorry to hear about your grandmother Emily. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Glad to hear you are finishing up your exams. Hope the year went well and your summer plans are exciting. Thanks for checking in Emily have a great summer!
ReplyDeleteThank you Mr.Phillips. Means a lot. And I'll inform people in 8th Grade to check in on this. I'm sure most of them forgot. And you have a great summer as well.
ReplyDeleteSpread the word and thank you so much. You enjoy the summer as well!
ReplyDeleteHey Mr. Phillips! I came on here a couple weeks ago but i guess my comment didnt work! How is everything? i cannot believe it has been more than a year since graduating! I really miss our class. I feel like some people have just disappeared. I'm doing summer league basketball and volleyball to help me get ready for the season. I did pretty well in school this year and i am going to be taking ap english next year(: I hope you have a great summer!
ReplyDeleteGrace it is great to hear from you! You are staying busy I see and it is showing in your success! AP English huh good for you. You definitely can do very well in it though. Hope you enjoyed your holiday and I am sure I'll see you at summer league before it ends. I hope to see some others pop in on the blog but I understand they may have forgotten. I have seen a few people here and there which is great. Keep enjoying your summer!
ReplyDeleteAs summer winds down I wanted to take a minute to wish everyone good luck on their sophomore years! Keep working hard you can do whatever it is you want if you make great decisions. Hope you and your families are well and hope to hear from you soon on how your lives after SPCC are doing. Enjoy summers end!

ReplyDeleteGreat to hear Grace! Time flies that is for sure sure. My summer was good but I am glad to be back at SPCC. Varsity volleyball as a sophomore is very impressive. You can do whatever you put your mind to so keep working hard and I hope to hear from you soon. Good luck this this!

ReplyDeleteMarisa and Michaela today told me how they visited SPCC. I was then thinking, do people still comment on the blog. Turns out many have forgotten like me:) Hows everything going over at SPCC. Its been almost two years I can't even believe it!
ReplyDeleteHey Juliana I tried to post on the blog three times last night but each one failed, at least I think it did hahaha. I cannot believe it has been two years either since your class roamed the halls here at SPCC. I am glad to hear from you and hope your doing well. I am in shock we haven't bumped into each other being that we live on the same street.
ReplyDeleteIt was great to see both Marisa and Michaela the other day. It seems as though they have adapted to life over seas and seem to be doing great. They mentioned they will be back for summer so hopefully that will be another chance for you to catch up!
How are you doing? Please say hi to James and your parents for me as well. I have seen James a few times and it seems as though he is doing well too. Is school going well for you? I am actually going back to school for the first time tomorrow!!! Crazy! Are you still dancing or doing any extra curricular activities at WA.
I am doing well. It is basketball season and I coach at Notre Dame so I am super busy but love it. SPCC is great but your class is still missed greatly. I hope to hear from you soon and hope all is well.
Sincerely,
Mr. Phillips
Hi Mr. Phillips!
ReplyDeleteIt's great to hear from you too. I was expecting a comment back in a few months hahaha. I know I am so surprised we haven't seen each other. I am just so busy!! I think we leave at about the same time, but I come back late because of dance.
I miss Marisa and Michaela so much. We skype every week at least once. So we keep in touch. I wanted to come visit with them but they went when I was in school. They are coming back in the summer for the month of July. I am actually going to visit them there in June right when I get out of school. (Should be very fun.)
I am doing great! How are you doing? The family is good as well. I will tell them you say hi. Worcester academy is great!! I love it so much and have made so many GREAT friends. This year is so hard. I can't even believe i made it through making the Headmasters List! I doubled up in math this year to get ahead so I am taking Geometry and Algebra 2. In addition to that, I am taking Honor Chemistry...ugh it is so hard and the teacher is not to helpful. His philosophy is learn from each other. (Not how I learn) so its been difficult but I am pushing on through. All of my other classes are going great though. I most definitely miss you as my science teacher! haha I do dance, or course, and I am also involved in a club (Medical explorers) and newspaper I am also getting involved in an 8th grade mentoring program. I heard that you were coaching there and I'm glad you love it so much! Why did you just go back to school? How long was your break?! Say hi to Mr. Coonan and Mr. Lecuyer for me!!
Juliana
Sorry for the late response Juliana. I am so happy to hear how well you are doing and how happy you are! I always knew you would and will continue to be successful!
DeleteYou must be so excited to go to London. What a great opportunity for you and you will have so much fun! Please let me know how that goes.
As for seeing you, I knw it's so weird we never bump into each other. I am sure it will happen soon enough. I did not run as much last summer because of a little back issue but hopefully will be able to once the weather gets a little nicer. It was so nice to hear from you. I know your busy but try to stop by school! Be good and stay in touch!
Well, we are 6 years out of SPCC. That is wild.
ReplyDeleteI stumbled upon this blog because I am currently sitting in my E-Commerce class and have to start my own blog. When I went to Blogger to create an account this blog came up automatically.
Read through the old post about the compliments for all our classmates. Thank for saying I was athletic and tall. Wish it was still true. I never broke my eating habit I guess.
Just an update. I never made it on the varsity basketball team at Holy Name. It still kind of hurts but life goes on. I am at Assumption College and working towards my degree in Computer Science. I've been working as a manager at a store called DXL in Auburn, but I am hoping to get an internship for the summer.
I hope to hear back from some of you. Never really kept in touch after SPCC.
I hope all is well for everyone.
Good to hear Greg thanks for the ride home!
